About Me

I am Nuno Figueiredo Pires, a Data Scientist passionate about Machine Learning, AI, and Business Analytics. I have 2 years of experience with Python and specialize in pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and seaborn.

I am currently completing a Data Science & AI Bootcamp at Le Wagon Lisbon, where I designed and delivered multiple data-driven projects.

Highlighted Projects

  • Burnout Risk Prediction: Developed a Gradient Boosting regression model to predict employee burnout risk, offering strategic advice for prevention. Implemented the frontend with Streamlit and managed MLOps with MLflow, Prefect, and Docker Containers.
    The next phase includes time-series analysis to track individual burnout evolution and APIs for integrating predictions into BI dashboards.
  • California Housing Price Prediction: Created a Deep Learning model using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to estimate real estate prices.
  • Independent AI & ML Projects: Worked on multiple projects covering clustering, regression, classification, NLP, and deep learning.

I hold two Master’s degrees in Information Management and Electrical Engineering. My research focused on statistical analysis and database design for large datasets.
